As a surface warfare officer in the USN, Taylor Pollock of Kiowa, Kansas, is currently stationed on the amphibious assault ship the USS Kearsarge, homeported in Norfolk, Virginia.
A 2019 graduate of South Barber High School, Taylor Pollock became a commissioned officer in the United States Navy (USN) from where she graduated in 2023. A deck division officer, Pollock spoke at South Barber's Veterans Day Program in Kiowa.
The daughter of Mark and Krista Pollock of Kiowa, she was salutatorian of her class at South Barber. In addition to her primary billet in the Navy as deck division officer, her collateral billets are search and rescue officer, recreation services officer, women's initiative team lead, and junior enlisted association sponsor.
