An Alva man has been charged with aggravated assault and battery after he brought a woman with head injuries to the Share Medical Center emergency room.
The felony charge states that Matthew Dane Hansel, 22, is charged with committing an aggravated assault and battery upon Sabrina Susan Shearmire by pushing her out of the truck with force and violence, thereby inflicting bodily injury. Those injuries are described as a head injury causing extensive bruising and swelling of the face and facial fractures requiring surgery.
