An Alva man was arrested after police responded to a report of a physical disturbance near Barnes and 9th Street. A woman at the scene refused to hand over the weapon to anyone but the sheriff.
Woods County Dispatch notified any listening officers about a disturbance report on Nov. 12 about 12:55 p.m. Alva Police Officer James Jones responded and found four people who were identified as being involved: Jarod Cunningham, Roper Cunningham, Leona Keesee and Robert Keesee.
