Cherokee Board of Education held its regular monthly meeting Monday, Dec. 2, with three members – Curtis Goodwin, Shane Parker and Heather Collins – present and two absent.
Busy Times at Cherokee Schools
November was a busy month, despite Thanksgiving, Junior High and High School Principal Lane Pruett told the board. For the school’s Veterans Day assembly, Cherokee hosted Command Sergeant Major John Hernandez, the senior enlisted leader to the two-star adjutant general for Oklahoma, and Major Karissa Goeken of the U.S. Air Force.
