ALVA – Northwestern Oklahoma State closed the non-conference portion of the schedule on Tuesday evening with a game against Friends University. The Falcons used a late first half run to take a halftime lead before closing out the 21 points win over the Rangers.
The Rangers drop to 3-3 on the season overall as Friends improves to 6-2 on the year.
Northwestern was led by Max Alexander on Tuesday, scoring a game-high 38 points making 16 shots including three 3-pointers while adding four assists. DaRaun Clark was the other double-figure scorer for the Rangers with 14 points.
