Cherokee Board of Education filings last week drew two candidates for the full term opening in Office 5. Paul Michael and Amber K. Wilhite filed for that position with the winner to be decided in the April 1 election. The unexpired four year term for Office 4 on the Cherokee board will be filled by Allan Poe, the only candidate filing.
Chisholm School District covers a portion of Alfalfa County. Voters in that area will have a choice of Chris Occhiuzzo and Geri Ayers for the Chisholm School Board.
