The Burlington High School quiz bowl team has competed in several events, including the district tournament at Aline-Cleo, the regional tournament at Fort Supply, and an invitational tournament at Kremlin-Hillsdale School. They placed first in the district and at regionals. They will compete in the area tournament on Jan. 18.
The quiz bowl team practices during power hour at school. Topics may include grammar, literature, music, art, math computation, chemistry, biology, physical science, science computation, geography, history, government, pop culture, sports and current events.
