State director tells Airport Commission about grants

• Recommends large box hangar, fencing

Grayson Ardies, director of the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics, attended the Monday night meeting of the Alva Airport Commission to talk about available state grants. Alva has already made use of the fuel system grant with the current project of installing a larger above-ground Jet-A storage tank with self-serve features.

Chairman Dale Logsdon opened the meeting with members Paul Kinzie, Terry Cline and Mayor Kelly Parker present. Calleb Mosburg was absent.

Ardies described four grants available including hangars, terminal buildings, better access and parking, and utilities....
