ALVA – Northwestern Oklahoma State men's basketball's team Camron McDowell earned Great American Conference Player of the Week for the first week in conference play. McDowell helped lead the Rangers to a victory over Arkansas Tech with a 41-point performance.
The Rangers finished the week 1-1 after an 89-75 victory over Arkansas Tech, and a loss against Harding 91-70.
McDowell finished the week with 50 points in the two games, shooting 15-23 for 65% and 6-10 from three for 60%. He added eight rebounds along with seven assists in the week.
