The Alfalfa County Board of Commissioners, Garret Johnson, Mike Roach and Nate Ross, spent some time Monday morning opening up six-month bids, ensuring all were properly sealed and notarized.
After they accepted those, they signed an agreement with the Office of the Attorney General for the 2024 Sheriff's Office for the funding grant program. County Clerk Laneta Schwerdtfeger said this agreement was tentatively the last step before the sheriff's office receives the funding.
