Kiowa City Council plans Christmas dinner for employees and invited guests

• Proposes raising fees to meet inflation, just over $3/month increase for residents

At the December meeting of the Kiowa City Council, the council approved the recommendation of City Administrator Ty Piper to host a Christmas dinner for city employees, their spouses and invited guests.

When Kiowa Mayor Bill Watson called the meeting to order after the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer, all members were present: Janet Robison, B.J. Duvall, President Brian Hill, Jason Thayer (via phone) and Tom Wells. City Attorney Brandon Ritcha and City Clerk Cady Tucker also sat at the council table.

The holiday schedule for 2025 received council approval as presented.
