The teachers at Alva Middle School have selected Harper Bays and Cord Heaton, eighth grade; Avaleigh Brinkley and Blaze Bivin, seventh grade; and Kacey Woods and Hank Hobbs, sixth grade, as AMS Students of the Month for October.
Harper Bays is in eighth grade and is the daughter of Holly Blevins and Jeremy Bays. Her grandparents are Larry and Julia Bays, and Buddy and Barbara Blevins. Her favorite classes are math and athletics. She is involved in student council, FFA, cross country, track, softball and basketball. In the future, she would like to be a veterinarian.
