Charles E. Young was born September 25, 1940, at the Alva General Hospital to Roscoe E. and Gladys F. Young. He passed away on November 3, 2024, in his home at Tahlequah, Oklahoma, at the age of 84.
He was raised west of Carmen, Oklahoma, on his parents' farmstead. Charles was an eager lad to learn all of what it takes to be a good farmer. In high school, his hard work and dedication paid off with him earning his Master Farmer's Award.
