Alfalfa County officials sign increase for mileage rate reimbursement

The Alfalfa County commissioners closed out 2024 with perhaps one of the quickest meetings of the year.

Garret Johnson, Mike Roach and Nate Ross signed off on a short stack of paperwork that included last week's meeting minutes, payroll warrants, maintenance and operation warrants for payment, and a blanket purchase order before approving the environmental checklist and resolution for a project in Roach's district (JP 29798).

After that, all they had left to do was sign a resolution for the updated mileage rate reimbursement. It increased from 67 cents to 70 cents. There wasn't any unforeseen...
