Since the groundbreaking in January, Alva's new aquatic center has progressed to installation of this slide situated in the deep pool area. The slide was an add-on feature approved in February and paid for by donations. It's hoped the Cory Washburn Family Swimming Pool will be open in May 2025. However, the renovation of the historic bathhouse is still waiting for approval.
