Cherokee Invitational begins tomorrow

The Cherokee School Board’s regular monthly meeting Monday evening opened with Superintendent Bryce Schanbacher recognizing the board for its service.

“January is School Board Appreciation Month, and you each have a certificate of appreciation there in front of you,” he said as the meeting got underway. “We do appreciate you and the decisions you make for our students, school and community, and we wanted to take a few moments to express that appreciation. Thank you all very much.”
