I have rediscovered one of my favorite old shows, “The Waltons.” The biggest thing I take away from every episode of that show is the feeling of how a poor Depression-era family, with little to their name, could be so rich.
I often wonder how much people of today’s time could learn from an old television show? There is nothing wrong with having money. However, they seemed to have the highest value, and it wasn’t monetary. Now for the most part their storylines were cheesy to say the least, but the morality and the family values they practiced weren’t cheesy at all.
