Eclipse Day at Burlington

Burlington celebrated the solar eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21, from 12 p.m.to 2.p.m. The eighth-grade class prepared a demonstration that they showed to the pre-K through sixth-grade classes. They discussed the reason why they need to wear solar glasses and what happens during the solar eclipse.
During the eclipse each class in the seventh through 12th grade had the opportunity to view the eclipse with special glasses.
