MONTICELLO, Ark. — Southern Nazarene stood tied 14-14 with Arkansas-Monticello late in the first half before a two-and-a-half hour delay due to inclement weather. After the delay, UAM outscored SNU 21-9 to pick up the 35-23 win Saturday.
The Weevils (5-3, 5-3 GAC) handed the Storm (3-5, 3-5 GAC) their first loss on the road and the third straight overall. SNU gave up 417 total yards from UAM as the Weevils ran for 290 and threw for 127. The Storm ran for 98 and threw for 65 for a total of 163.
