Deputy Miller investigated a suspicious vehicle on SH-160 east of Medicine Lodge.

John W. Nixon, Medicine Lodge, driving a 2017 Ford F-150, hit a deer on US-281 1 mile north of Medicine Lodge. Over $1,000 damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Paasch.

Deputy Paasch investigated a suspicious person on the Sun City Road.

Deputy Paasch did a welfare check in Kiowa.

Deputy Miller investigated an abandoned vehicle on SH-8.

February 7, 2018

Kiowa ambulance transported patient from east Woodworth to Kiowa Hospital.

Medicine Lodge Rural Fire Department responded to a grass fire stated by welding on Hillside Road. Deputy Suchy also responded.

Hazlton Fire Department responded to a possible fire by the elevator. Fire was found to be in Harper County. Deputy Suchy also responded.

Deputy Suchy investigated a traffic hazard on US-281.

Kiowa ambulance transported patient from Kiowa Hospital to Wesley Hospital on Woodlawn.

Deputy Woods and Deputy Suchy responded to a dispute on west Woodworth.

Deputy Woods investigated a suspicious person on Woodward Road.

Mary Ann Gillig, Kiowa, driving 2014 Lacrosse hit a deer on SH-160 by the Barber County landfill. Unknown damages, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Paasch and Deputy Miller.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

February 11, 2018

Travis Wayne Peterson, Attica, driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 belonging to R & B Oil & Gas, hit a field entrance on College Hill Road.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to Pratt Regional Hospital in Pratt.

Deputy Suchy investigated a burglary on south Fifth in Kiowa.

Kiowa ambulance transported patient from Kiowa Hospital to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Deputy Miller investigated an animal attack in Hardtner.

During the week officers received seven reports of cattle out, performed one public assist and assisted six other agencies.

Tasha Nicole Kimball, Medicine Lodge, W/F, 33. Arrested by BASO. Charges: Kiowa County court commit. Released Feb. 11, 2018, time served.

February 10, 2018

Stacey Nicole Berger, Wichita, W/F, 41. Arrested by BASO. Charges: DUI. Released Feb. 10, 2018, on $750 surety bond.

February 11, 2018

Baylee Shiann Briseno, Medicine Lodge, W/F, 21. Arrested by MLPD. Charges: aggravated battery.
