Kiowa Council buys Terwort building, appoints building committee, term limit petitions legal

In a meeting lasting about one hour Monday morning, the Kiowa City Council took action regarding the new city hall and learned that the redone term limit petitions that circulated around town are deemed legal.

In keeping with his new tradition, Kiowa Mayor Ron Rohr opened the special meeting with the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. All council members attended including: Bill Watson, R.L. Simpson, Russ Molz, Brian Hill and Tom Wells. City Administrator Lou Leone sat at the council table as did City Clerk Trish Brewer.
