September 16, 2016

Clark Beckham, first runner up in the American Idol Season 14, will be in Oklahoma City the first week of November for a concert on Nov. 5. The concert is a benefit for the South Moore High School Vocal Music Program and will be held at Randall University in Moore. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketstorm.com, including a handful of backstage meet and greet VIP tickets.

Clark will not only be performing a full solo concert to help them raise money for their music program, but he will also be performing with a couple of the school’s choirs during the show as well. On Nov. 4, he will be spending the day at South Moore conducting a music clinic for the vocal music students. Clark may also be singing the national anthem at Southmoore’s Senior Night Football Game and at a Thunder game. Details are still being worked out.

Clark’s mother, Terri, attended Alva High School, and graduated from Woodward High School. Clark’s father, Virgil, who has toured with the Bill Medley and Righteous Brothers, is from the Foss, Oklahoma, area. Most of Clark’s family currently lives in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa Metro areas.

With his deep Oklahoma family roots, Clark loves OU Football and OKC Thunder Basketball, so he will be attending many sporting events while in town as a spectator as well.
