Lois Lenkner offers fresh-from-the-garden produce, raw and processed honey, and other treats from during Alva's First Friday Art Walk Oct. 7. Besides operating Northstar Produce with her husband, Lenkner of Medicine Lodge is also the author of a garden-inspired children's book, "Oodles of Tomatoes and One Packed Van."
The First Friday Art Walk on Oct. 7 had more on offer for attendees than art. University students had homemade goodies available for donations to the NWOSU Art Society. Lois Lenkner had her garden produce and honey on sale there, and Barbara Crain of the Wagon Creek Creamery in Helena displayed her grass-fed and grass-finished dairy and beef products....
