On Tuesday Oct. 11, the Timberlake FFA opening ceremonies team placed fourth at the Alva P.I. contest. The team – made up of Jake Thorp, KaLynn LeForce, Dru Bryant, Cade Jenlink, Braydon Frech and Joel Pecha – all put in a lot of time and practice to do their parts well.

On the next day, Wednesday, Oct. 12, the sporting clays team participated at the Northwest District Contest in Fort Supply. The junior and senior teams represented Timberlake well. Trevor McClain shot 17 out of 20 and is going to state. He placed fourth as an individual in the senior division and advances on to the state competition on Nov. 9 in Arcadia. The junior team consisted of Alec Judd, Braden Nichols, Devon Kent and Joel Pecha. The senior team was Trevor McClain, Kamber LeForce, Jake Thorp and Cade Jenlink.
