CONWAY, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist won all but two events and cruised to victory in the Hendrix Classic Saturday.

"It was a pretty good weekend for us, but we still have a lot of work to do," said OBU Coach Sam Freas. "I'm glad we got these wins today."

Nicolas Brun set a Bob Courtway Pool record in the 200 backstroke in 1:52.67.

Alex Mundt won the 200 individual medley in 1:55.51, Felipe Ramirez won the 200 butterfly in 1:53.47 and Josip Miskovic captured the 200 breaststroke in 3:36.78.

Chad Brandon won the 50 freestyle in 21.18 and the 100 free in 46.26. Kristijan Stunkovic won the 200 free in 1:44.66 and Mundt won the 500 free in 4:47.81.

Julien Goyetche, Miskovic, Ramirez and Marc Sambolin won the 400 medley relay in 3:29.61 and Brandon, Sambolin, Goyetche and Ryan Walker won the 400 free relay in 3:07.48.

Zak Rowton won the one-meter diving with a score of 331 and scored a 326.85 in the three-meter but finished second by half a point.


OBU next swims in the Eat Turkey Meet Nov. 19 in Edmond.
