Freshman Cody Hixon capped off his impressive first semester of collegiate golf by taking home the Great American Conference Male Golfer of the Week honor.

Hixon earned the award by firing rounds of 72 and 74 to finish in third place at the NWOSU Invite at Meadlowlake Golf Course over the weekend. Hixon helped lead the Rangers to a two-stroke comeback to take the team title for their first win in the NCAA Division II era.
