Q&A with football senior Chase Jones

November 4, 2016

Q: What is your favorite part about being a Goldbug?

A: My favorite part about being a Goldbug is always having a community that will support you and help you through anything you go through, whether it be sports, extracurricular activities, or academics.

Q: What's your favorite memory from football?

A: My favorite memory is when at Perry my junior year, Justin Meyer had a wide open touchdown and tripped over his own feet and fell before scoring.

Q: What advice do you have for next year's seniors?

A: It's a long time to prepare for a short time to play. So you have to make the most of it.

Q: If you could change one thing about your high school football career, what would it be?

A: I would put more effort into watching film and preparing mentally for games.

Q: Who has been your biggest influence?

A: My mother has been my biggest influence in my life for me. She has always been there for me and always helped me along through tough times.

Q: If you could trade places with any other senior football player, who would it be and why?

A: Ethan Harzman. I would really enjoy having his curly hair and great muscular, thick build. And he is one heck of a player!
