Waynoka man arrested for auto theft

A Waynoka man is accused of stealing a vehicle, colliding with a parked vehicle and then leaving the scene, all without a valid driver’s license.

Dylan M. Knierim, 24, of Waynoka has been charged with a felony of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He’s also facing two misdemeanor charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving damage and driving with license cancelled, suspended, revoked.

The felony is punishable by a fine of $500 to $5,000 or imprisonment for one to five years or both. Leaving the scene is punishable by imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to $500 or both. The dr...
