Women's Basketball Goes Cold Late in Loss to Henderson State

ADA – The first home game of the 2016-17 season for the East Central University women's basketball team was an ebb and flow for both teams, but unfortunately the Tigers went cold in the last few minutes of the game and fell to Henderson State, 72-74, in Great American Conference action at the Kerr Activities Center.

The Tigers (1-6, 0-3 GAC) had strong showings from seniors Whitney Stotler and Jalyn Jackson and junior Devon Branch. Stotler tallied a career-high 28 points, while adding five rebounds, a block and going 13-of-17 from the field. Jackson added 14 points, eight rebound...
