Alaina Hurst is a junior at Alva High School and an AHS reporter. She is involved in Electric Gold, Rainbow, Key Club, and is on the golf team. She is the parliamentarian of Student Council, and the president of Health to Others (H2O).

"It has been super encouraging; the fact that the community loves it so much has really helped us. We are really thankful for the Alva newspaper to have given us such great opportunity and to have been so helpful," said Hurst.

Hurst took the journalism class this year looking to improve her writing, and to learn how to cover and share stories with the community....
