Field trip to the Cherokee Strip Museum

On Dec. 8 (after the Burlington High School girls' basketball game at Northwestern), the third through sixth graders went to tour the Cherokee Strip Museum in Alva. Each class was split into groups with their own tour guides.

The tour was educational for all of the students and teachers. Some people do not realize how different the world is now than it was back then. They have antique dental chairs and tools, salon chairs and hair curlers, a surgery table, and an antique wheelchair in the museum on display.
