EDMOND, Okla. - The Alva High School Goldbugs fell to the Okemah Panthers Friday night in a fighting attempt to keep their season alive at Oklahoma Christian School.

Though Okemah was the first on the board to start the first quarter, Alva answered with back-to-back treys from Ethan Flynt and Ethan Harzman to get their biggest lead of the night, 6-2. The Panthers were able to tie the game at six-all, but a corner three from Jacob Faulkner gave the Goldbugs back a three-point lead, 9-3.
