Henderson State put together a strong effort against No. 41 Southeastern Oklahoma, but the Reddies fell short losing to the Savage Storm 5-4, in women's tennis action Saturday at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The Reddies began the day winning two of three doubles matches to take a 2-1 advantage.

At No. 1 doubles, the Henderson duo of Annie Shannon and Thea Minor defeated Alexsandra Reljic and Darija Catipovic 9-7. Reljic and Catipovic entered the match ranked No. 4 in the Central Region.
