Two people from Alva have been charged with child neglect in Alfalfa County. Corwyn Michael Shirley Madison, 26, and Mandy Lee Madison, 37, have been charged with felony child neglect. This crime is punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections not exceeding life imprisonment, or by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year, or a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $5,000, or both such fine and imprisonment.
