E911 recording provides evidence in case

 


After reporting a crash with injury at Little Sahara State Park to E911, the injured party apparently forgot to end the call. E911 dispatch heard and recorded a conversation about “weed.”

According to court documents, on July 1 about 4:20 a.m. Woods County Dispatch called Park Ranger Nathan Rackley about an injury accident in the sand dune riding area. He retrieved the rescue buggy and waited at the South Gate entrance to take Waynoka EMS to the crash site. On the way to the site, Rackley was told the injured party was still on the phone, and the dispatcher could hear a male stating “I’m nervo...
