Funeral services for Linwood Paul will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Wharton Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at http://www.whartonfuneralchapel.com.

Linwood was born on January 3, 1920, to Emma (Wiebener) and Linwood Boyer Paul. He passed away in Hotspring Village, Arkansas, August 7, 2017, at the age of 97 years, 7 months and 4 days.

Linwood was married to Josephine Margaret Brown on April 9, 1939, in Carmen, Oklahoma. To this union two children were born, Larry and Jarilyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Josephine, on November 7, 2016.

He is survived by his two children, Larry (wife Betty) and Jarilyn (husband Jim), 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Katie Mallory (husband Dean).
