A rollover wreck took the life of a Cleo Springs woman Saturday. Kelli June Sinnett, 41, of Cleo Springs was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk internal injuries. The wreck occurred at an unknown time on U.S. Highway 412, three-tenths of a mile west of County Road 239, which is 16.75 miles west of Orienta in Major County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Sinnett was driving a 2000 Ford F150 pickup westbound on U.S. 412 and failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway. The pickup traveled off the right side of the road with the driver over-correcting. The pickup then crossed the road going into the south ditch and rolled two times, coming to rest on its wheels. Sinnett was ejected during the roll coming to rest 40 feet west of the vehicle’s point of rest. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

Trooper Darrin Lancaster investigated, assisted by Trooper Gene Goodson and Trooper Matt Wilczek. Also assisting were the Major County Sheriff’s Office, Fairview Fire Department, Major County EMS and Alva Police Department.
