Tulsa, Okla. (AP) -- Matt Beaty doubled and singled twice, and Yadier Alvarez pitched six scoreless innings as the Tulsa Drillers defeated the San Antonio Missions 3-2 on Saturday.

Alvarez (1-1) allowed two hits while striking out five and walking two to pick up the win.

Up 1-0 in the fifth, Tulsa added to its lead when Garrett Kennedy hit a solo home run.

After Tulsa added a run in the sixth on a single by Johan Mieses, the Missions cut into the deficit in the eighth inning when Luis Urias hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Josh Naylor.
