A motorist reported a possible intoxicated driver in the very early hours of Saturday, Aug. 12, in Alfalfa County. Deputy T.J. Rockenbach was sent to check on the vehicle and occupants. The witness reported the vehicle was swerving from side to side on the road in front of him, slowing and speeding up. He stated the car almost hit an oncoming semi truck head on as well as another oncoming vehicle. The witness also said he watched the car drive into the opposite lane of traffic numerous times.
