Kriegh recognized with OkACTE Support Staff Member of the Year Award

Jessica Kriegh of Alva was recognized with the Support Staff Member of the Year award at the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Educators (OkACTE) Summer Conference held earlier this month. Kriegh is the Business and Industry Services & Adult Career Development administrative assistant at Northwest Technology Center (NWTC) in Alva.

In addition to recognition onstage at the OkACTE event, Kriegh will receive a $2,500 cash award, which is sponsored by Express Employment Professionals. Kriegh was nominated for the award by Susan Bymaster, fellow co-worker, support staff section member, and a previous award recipient. In addition to preparing an application packet, she also interviewed with a selection panel to qualify for the award.

Kriegh has been a part of the NWTC staff for the past 12 years. She began working as a job developer career specialist for the PROJECT HOPE program and in 2007 was offered a position as the administrative professional for the central office. She transitioned into her current role in 2013. She is a native of Alva and graduated from Alva High School in 2003. Kriegh attended NWTC as a high school student and continued her education as a post-secondary student, completing the Business and Computer Technology courses I, II, and III and the massage therapy programs at NWTC.


Kriegh lives in Alva with her husband, Michael, and their two children, Ben and Georgia. She is the daughter of Brad and Kathy Churchill, and Sara Churchill.
