RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team defeated St. Edward's 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 26-24) Saturday on the final day of the Holiday Inn Express Spikefest hosted by Arkansas Tech.

Harding improves to 12-1 on the season.

St. Edward's falls to 7-4.

FIRST SET

Harding jumped out to an 11-5 lead in the first set until St. Edward's battled back to cut the lead to one on a 5-0 run. The Lady Bisons answered back with a 5-0 run to lead 16-10. Harding held on to win 25-20.

SECOND SET

Harding took a 12-4 lead in the third set on six kills. St. Edward's battled back to cut the lead to three 17-14 but the Lady Bisons closed the set on an 8-4 run to win 25-18.

THIRD SET

Tied 19-19, Harding went on a 3-0 run on two kills to lead 22-19. St. Edward's climbed back in the set and tied it 24-24 on three kills. The Lady Bisons had back-to-back kills to win the set 26-24.

- Harding had over 10 kills in each set.

- The Lady Bisons were led by Emma Reeves who had 11 kills and five digs.

- Rachel Heussner captured her fifth straight double-double with 31 assists and 11 digs.

- Taylor Lake led the defense with 19 digs and Selena Foster added 13.

- Zoe Hardin had five blocks.

St. Edward's

- St. Edward's was led by Alexa McAndrew who had 15 kills and 12 digs.

- Morgan Beckham led the defense with a match-high 23 digs. Katie Martin added 18.

- Nicole Peters had 10 blocks for St. Edward's

Harding will continue Great American Conference action Tuesday when it travels to Russellville, Arkansas to take on Arkansas Tech. First serve is at 6 p.m.
