SHAWNEE – After tallying a goal, an assist and a clean sheet last week, Kelsey Bumgarner has been named the Great American Conference Defender of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Bumgarner, a Mustang native, earned the award for the second time this year after helping Oklahoma Baptist to a 1-0-1 record to remain the only unbeaten team in the GAC last week. She scored a goal and assisted on another in a 5-1 rout of Southern Nazarene.
