SNU opens hunt seat season

NORMAN, Okla. — Southern Nazarene had several top fninshes in its first hunt seat show of the year at Oklahoma.

There were two first place finishes each day as Lauren Bubb and Emily Hendrick each took home those top marks as they tied in beginner walk trot both days. Kristin Hardy placed second in advanced walk trot canter while Mia Landon took third in intermediate flat. Landon also pointed up to the open class, the top division, with her placing in intermediate flat. Mykah Snyder also took fifth in beginner walk trot while Lindsay Roberts placed sixth in novice fences.

In Sunday's show, Snyder moved to third in beginner walk trot while Roberts took fourth in novice flat and fifth in novice fences. Hardy also took fourth in advanced walk trot canter. Landon placed fifth in both open flat and intermediate fences while Breena Sarver took sixth in novice flat.
