SWOSU defeats SNU 3-0

WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Southern Nazarene only had one less shot on goal than Southwestern Oklahoma State in a 3-0 defeat Thursday afternoon.

The Crimson Storm (4-12-0, 2-8-0 GAC) had seven shots on frame while the Bulldogs (10-3-3, 7-1-3 GAC) totaled eight. SWOSU outshot SNU 18-12 for the game. Things were pretty even throughout the first half, as neither team scored. The Storm had six shots while the Bulldogs had nine.

After a scoreless first half, SWOSU's Sandra Nabweteme got on the board in the 56th minute to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. Alimata Rabo then added two more goals for SWOSU, one in the 79th minute and another in the 84th. The Bulldogs were able to hold off the Storm in the final six minutes.

Meagan Chase and Alexus Coxsey each had two shots on goal for SNU, as Shanae Vasquez and Hannah Lawrence each had one. Ashlynn Pritchett recorded five saves for the Storm. SWOSU's Steffi Silvera tallied seven saves in the game.
