ALVA, Okla. – Southeastern closed out the fall portion of the 2017-18 schedule with one of the best combined performances of the season so far as the women finished second and the men were fourth at the Northwestern Oklahoma State rodeo in Alva, Okla.

Shiann Henderson came out on the first night of competition and was able to take the lead with a very fast 5.9 seconds in the goat tying competition. However, Shelby Whiting answered in the Saturday morning slack by posting a long go winning time of 5.8.
