Oklahoma commission approves plan for roads and bridges

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma Transportation Commission has approved a work plan that calls for repairing or replacing nearly 400 county bridges and improving hundreds of miles of county roads over the next five years.
About $926 million in federal, state, local and tribal funds will go toward the County Improvement for Roads and Bridges plan that was approved on Monday, The Oklahoman reported. The plan is administered by the state Department of Transportation.
