Superintendent James Miller spent quite a bit of time Monday night telling members of the Freedom Board of Education of his concerns about what the special session of the legislature might do their district. He is worried about HB1578, which has turned into a "study."

He explained that most schools in northwest Oklahoma are self-supporting with in-place taxes and do not have to be part of the state funding formula.
