The “elephant in the room” on the Alva School Board agenda was a proposal to hire the OSSBA to assist in the search for a new superintendent to fill the position being left by Superintendent Steve Parkhurst's retirement. That agenda item was near the end of the agenda list but was no doubt the entry of highest interest.
