Goldbugs run away with win over Perry, 62-43

ENID, Okla. – The Alva High School boys extended their winning streak to seven games on Thursday after taking down the Perry Maroons 62-43 in the opening round of the Wheat Capital Tournament at Chisholm. Alva moved its record to 8-1 on the season.

On Friday, the Bugs will have their hands full with four-time defending tournament champion Kingfisher. Tip for the second round contest is scheduled for 5:10 p.m.
