The 54 Classic Basketball Tournament opened last week with the boys' tournament at Pratt/Skyline High School in Pratt, Kansas.
The South Barber High School Chieftains took third place. They first had a decisive win over Norwich. Then they lost to Attica in a heartbreaker, 52-51. Saturday, the Chieftains overcame Medicine Lodge 57-47 to take third place in the tournament.
The Lady Chieftains started in the 54 Classic girls' tournament at Cunningham Tuesday night. Results were not available at press time. If they won, the Lady Chieftains will play Friday at 6:30 p.m. If they lost, they play Frid...
